The Wedding
of
Elisha & Matthew
I had already met Elisha long before her wedding when she was in Bali to search for the perfect venue. She also wanted to check me out to see if my work is up to her expectations and to see if the chemistry was OK.
Elisha explained to me that it is very important for her that the photographs are not only a documentation of her wedding but also need to have a lot of gorgeous family photographs of Elisha, Matthew and their lovely son Noah.
In the following I would like to show some photographs of that fabulous event and in particular the family photos the bride requested to have.
Elisha’ and Matthew’s son Noah was absolutely gorgeous and very easy to photograph…
Since it was very high tide on that day we had only a small strip of beach left to do some photographs. But as you can see that was not to deter the photography session there.
The light was just perfect…
This is what Elisha had to say about the photographs:
Just wanting to thank you and your team for capturing my wedding so beautifully. I felt so relaxed with you all and your unobtrusive way of documenting my wedding.
“Your wedding photos are not only a reflection of your day but of the relationship a photographer has with their client. I flew to Bali to meet with you because I needed to feel comfortable and confident with the person that would be capturing one of the most important days of my life. I was not disappointed! To have that trust and for it to exceed my expectations is more than I could hope for.
You have provided myself and my family with the most beautiful images . The photo taken with my son on the morning of my wedding captures our relationship beautifully and I was not even aware it had been taken. Also, how you took such gorgeous photos at the beach with such limited time and space I’ll never know.
Anyone getting married overseas should not underestimate the value of an album or video. Every photo contributed to our story from beginning to end. It not only featured Matthew, myself and the bridal party but also our guests enjoying this day. Everyone had been talking about how much they love the magazine style of the album. My mother in law in particular loved her parents album. It was a shame she did not get to share our day but I can’t tell you how many times she has taken out her own little ‘slice’ of the wedding. I guess the cliche “A picture paints a thousand words” was poignant in this case.
