This event was a primer for me as a wedding photographer in Bali as it was the first wedding I photographed in pouring rain after over 300 weddings.  And that at the height of the dry season in Bali! However the rain was not at all a deterrent to this magnificent & fun wedding.  To everyone’s joy the rain ceased towards the ending of the ceremony. Tony and Angie and the bridal party also had a very relaxed attitude towards the weather conditions.   I could have removed the streaks of rain in the photographs but refrained from doing so because in my opinion rather gave a special note to this wedding.

The photo tour that followed the ceremony was not only of special significance to Angie and Tony but it was fun throughout as the couple was accompanied by the entire bridal party who were all in a very cheerful mood. Due to the rain in the afternoon we had a gorgeous light during the photo taking on the beach. Tony & Angie were a complete bliss to work with.

The newlyweds then retired for a moment to chill out before making a magnificent entrance onto the reception venue where they started off the evening with the cutting of the cake. At this point my assignment ended.

Angie, Tony and to the entire bridal party:  Thank you so much for having me as your wedding photographer. I enjoyed this event as much as you did and thanks to your wedding I now can also consider myself an experienced rain-wedding-photographer…  🙂
