Kellie and Ryan had a clear idea of what they wanted for their wedding in Bali: at sunset – close to the beach at their favorite hotel. Kellie was also intent on having candid, wedding photographs in the golden light of the late afternoon sun.
But it was not all smooth sailing at first as they had been trying to organize their wedding through some rather incompetent wannabe wedding organizer who did not respond to their emails in a timely manner and was not helpful at all. Fortunately, through some family connections back home in Australia they got in touch with a good wedding planer and from then on it was all clear sky and smooth sailing. Katie and her team indeed did a fabulous job in organizing this sunset Bali wedding.
The ceremony was a bit tricky to photograph because not only did I have to point the camera into the light, but to make things even more complicated the couple was standing in the shade as well. Yet this wedding ceremony still yielded some splendid photos.
The couple and the bridal party then headed off to the beach and as if it had been ordered there was a gorgeous sunset.
Kellie, Ryan, thank you so much for allowing me to be your wedding photographer in Bali.
Yours truly – Dominik
