The nuptials of Andy and Prudence were another poignant example of what it means to be a wedding photographer in Bali. Documenting this fabulous event I had the opportunity to work in a spectacular wedding venue offering a ‘to-die-for’ vista. Add to this a mix of people from 2 completely different parts of the world and a flawless organization by one of Bali’s most prestigious wedding and event planners from Ambience Occasions and what you get is a perfect wedding, which is usually  a pleasure to work at.

Prudence and Andy pronounced their vows towards each other under a huge Balinese pavilion overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The late afternoon sun provided for some beautiful warm hues and a gentle breeze ensured that all the attending guests felt comfortable.  Rather than keeping you reading my observations I like to present you in the following the photographs of the venue, the preparations and the actual wedding ceremony.

Andy and Prudence wanted to spend as much as possible time with their families and friends and hence the usual portrait session was rather brief and we only photographed within the villa’s compound for about 30 – 45 minutes. However this brief session yielded some spectacular images, which in my humble opinion reflect the deep bond between the newlyweds.  It was a pleasure to work with them.

While Andy and Prudence had their photographs taken guests were treated to cocktails and canapés. During that period also the grounds where the reception was held was readied . Shortly  after nightfall the bridal party, followed by the newlyweds made a spectacular entrance.  Right away they cut the cake under the cheerful applause of their family and friends. What followed was a gentle first dance, which was a great testimony to the heartfelt emotions between the A & P.

The remainder of the evening was fun, food and cheerful mingling.

Prudence, Andy thank you so much for letting me document your big day in Bali. I look forward to meeting you again in a few years for the baby / kidz photos.

Truly’ – Dominik
