Wet Wedding at AYANA

Lynn & Jackson are people of delicate taste ! And they choose a wedding at AYANA. At the romantic Tresna chapel to be precise. What they did not choose were the rather adverse weather conditions on that day.  It was one of those few days in a year when the rain in Bali simply did […]

A clever wedding at Ayana chapel

I love this wedding at Ayana chapel because it was full of good ideas… and good photographs of course… 😉  Kristi , the bride had contacted me almost a year before her wedding at Ayana chapel.  She had a very good idea of what she wanted. We extensively discussed possible scheduling, photo locations and other […]

Kristi Brown - April 22, 2013 - 3:05 pm

As Dominik has mentioned, I was in contact with him quite a while before our wedding. After researching photographers in Bali, it was clear in our opinions that Dominik was the best. Therefore, we wanted him to photograph our wedding from day one and got in contact with him straight away to secure our date.
Originally Ryan and I thought that organizing a Bali wedding from Australia may get difficult. We were proven wrong. Most of our communication with Dominik was via email and all of our ideas and plans were discussed and finalized with ease before the wedding. We would like to thank Dominik for the advice and ideas he shared with us which made our wedding day run smoothly and stress free.
The day went perfectly and we have so many amazing photographs thanks to Dominik.
Again, we would like to thank Dominik for all of his hard work prior to the wedding, on the day and in the weeks following. We have so much respect for him and would advise anyone planning on getting married in Bali to have their special day photographed by Dominik. Kristi and Ryan Brown.

Bali Catholic Church Wedding

What I liked most about being the Bali Wedding photographer for this magnificent wedding is that I had the rare opportunity to photograph a Bali catholic church wedding. Paul & Becky had to get married in this church because they were of Roman Catholic faith and the Roman Catholic Church is the only faith that […]

Hahaha love your comment Dominik!!!
Thanks for the photos. They are wonderful and we really are very happy with them – as Paul said, can’t wait to see the rest!!
You went extra length to have our special day captured beautifully and we can’t thank you enough for that. You do deserve all the credits!
Thanks again and so sorry about your shoes 🙂

Thanks Paul for your kind words of praise. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to be part of this marvelous event. Noted that you are not the religious type… I hope for Becky that you will retain the attitude of: ‘I just do whatever the lady wants…’ 😉 that seems to be a good foundation for an enduring relationship… 😉 😉 😉

Cheers – Dominik

Paul Melville (The Groom) - December 1, 2012 - 12:13 pm

Dominik thanks for sharing these wonderful photos – can’t wait to see the rest of them.
Really must credit you on the photos in the church – the lighting was very difficult and no one else managed to get good photos, let alone the quality of the ones you have taken – they look amazing.
We were really unsure how to pick a photographer for the wedding and did not think there was much difference in options – we are so glad we decided to go with the best as the difference is above for all to see.
You really made the day easy and we did not have to think about photos at all, you really came up with some amazing locations and angles also. Most of all thank you so much for capturing the beauty of my lovely bride!
Just to clarify one thing though – I’m not actually Catholic or religious – that would be Becky. I just did whatever my bride wanted on the day:)
Thanks again
